Frank Hart's humidors

Not only for cigar lovers

April 7, 2021

Frank Hart is a visual artist who fuses the Cuban flag with a truly national passion: cigars.

These perfectly fabricated cigar humidors are designed with extreme care and they are made out of precious Cuban woods.

As well as the habanos that the humidors keep safe, the pieces are handmade. The artist decorates the humidors with his different interpretations of the Cuban flag, which is a constant in Hart's paintings.

It is true that you cannot take home a classic American car, or a jazz session, and neither a classical ballet performance by the famous National Ballet. But indeed you could take back home one of Hart’s beautiful artworks. A humidors and perhaps a painting.

It does not matter whether or not you are a cigar aficionado. There is no escape. Coming to Cuba is also following a couple of clichés. And falling in love with at least a couple of them. Like this artists’ works in which an artistic utilitarian object syntheses a couple of good Cuban symbols, the flag and the cigars.
